I was born in Puerto Jiménez and raised in the hills of Matapalo, surrounded by the wildlife and natural beauty of the Osa Peninsula. Growing up in the jungle gave me a deep connection to nature.

Today, I love sharing the knowledge and experiences I've gained over a lifetime of exploring this remarkable region. My goal is to give every visitor an authentic, personal experience and help them see the Osa through the eyes of someone who has called it home since childhood.​​​​

OUTSTANDING!!!!
Our family has traveled extensively and explored many areas with guides, but Elyer is a cut above.
You WILL see birds and monkeys, and a variety of things, but it is His ability to set up a spectacular viewing system where it seems like the animal is right in front of you.
Another thing we appreciated was his ability and willingness to tailor what we wanted to do and see. Elyer was kind enough to extend our tour by over two hours for which we gave him a tip, but for which he did not actually ask for additional funds. He is a really special guy, and all regards, including taking us to a special place for a close-up view of a macaw’s nesting site. In addition to his knowledge and respect of Wildlife, Elyer grew up in the jungle nearby, which made it extra special.  You won’t be disappointed.
